Lots of time off means lots of guitar playing. So we come to the epic battle between robots and stylists.

I am already greatly unimpressed with the music industry.

I learned a lot about cost breakdowns while negotiating my last record deal, and the Victory Records whistleblow that came out a few years ago further illuminated the subject. But this takes the cake.

On being a bad guitar player…. again

Years of poor technique have had some unfortunate ramifications upon the well-being of my body. So, today I started physiotherapy.

I’ve also started working on Jamie Andreas‘s The Principles of Correct Practice for Guitar. If you’ve never heard of Jamie Andreas, she is a brilliant classical guitarist and adamant proponent of tension-free guitar playing.
