[Video] – Video posted for Django Circular Arpeggios

I have recorded a video of me playing a circular arpeggio version of the Figure 5 chord progression from Patrick “Romane” Leguidcoq‘s A Lesson with Romane, his DVD on Django Reinhardt and gypsy jazz. Want the tab? It’s right here.

I believe that this is the first time my guitar playing has been featured on the interweb in a solo environment. Not just is my playing incredible, but the video editing will have Spielberg, Guiellermo del Toro, and Adam McKay all knocking on my door in the morning. Hard life.

I am writing a new song. Again.

No no, I’m not dead. But my laptop is. Yes, my music-making emporium, faithfully serving me these last 6 years, has lost its will and capability to make music. Actually, its ability to make music has been diminished for quite a few months know, but mentally I just haven’t been willing to accept that.

Until now.
